Google User Data and YouTube API Services
To provide the video upload feature, LifeCompass.Pro uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting your Google account to use this feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We are committed to transparency in how we handle your Google user data.
What Google User Data We Access
When you authorize LifeCompass.Pro to access your Google account, our application will access the following information:
- OAuth 2.0 Access and Refresh Tokens: We securely store authorization tokens that allow our application to act on your behalf without storing your Google password.
- Permission to Manage Your YouTube Videos: We request the minimum necessary permission (`https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload`) which allows our application to upload videos directly to your YouTube channel.
- Basic YouTube Channel Information: We may access basic, non-sensitive information about your channel to confirm the connection is active.
How We Use Your Google User Data
Our application uses the Google user data you authorize solely for the following purposes:
- To Upload Videos: The primary purpose is to upload the coaching videos you create within LifeCompass.Pro directly to your personal YouTube channel, at your request.
- To Maintain Authorization: We use the stored refresh token to maintain a persistent connection, so you do not need to re-authorize the application every time you wish to upload a video.
We do not access, store, or use any other Google user data. We do not share your Google user data with any other third parties. You can review and manage your connected apps and the data they have access to via the Google Security Settings page.

Data Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
Data Retention: The only Google user data we retain is the OAuth 2.0 refresh token. We store this token securely in our database to maintain a persistent connection to your YouTube account. This allows you to upload videos in the future without needing to re-authorize our application each time.
Data Deletion: You have full control over your data and can have the stored refresh token deleted in any of the following ways:
- Revoking Access via Google: You can revoke LifeCompass.Pro's access to your Google Account at any time by visiting the Google Security Settings page. Revoking permission will immediately prevent our application from accessing your YouTube account, and our system will automatically delete your stored refresh token upon its next attempt to use it.
- Disconnecting Within LifeCompass.Pro: You can disconnect the YouTube integration from within your LifeCompass.pro user settings page. This action will immediately delete the stored refresh token from our database.
- Deleting Your Account: If you delete your LifeCompass.Pro account, all associated data, including the stored Google refresh token, will be permanently deleted from our systems in accordance with our data deletion policies.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that your personal information will be completely secure.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
LifeCompass.Pro may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of LifeCompass.Pro after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
